Whatever you are looking for in your holiday to Greece, then look no further.

At The Travel Creators we have travelled this wonderful country extensively and whether you are looking for culture, sandy beaches, wonderful scenery or an active walking or sailing holiday, we have in depth local knowledge of this charming country to help you make the right choice of destination.

The Acropolis Athens
Thanks to its hosting of the Olympic Games in 2004, Athens is currently one of Europe’s more fashionable cities to visit. Always vibrant, this 24-hour city is an intriguing mix of east and west, history and modernity, bustle and culture. Most visitors to Athens stay in the centre, just a short walk from both the Acropolis and the atmospheric 19th century Plaka district, now largely pedestrianised. We can arrange a short city break stay in Athens or the city can be included in a fly-drive or tailor made holiday.

Valtos Beach Parga and Sivota
Two Epirot villages in glorious surroundings and with excellent beaches. Parga, With a lush countryside which remains green throughout the summer, magnificent beaches, and a characterful harbour topped by a castle is popular with Greek and Foreign visitor alike. Sivota has fewer visitors, a very pretty waterfront and real, village atmosphere. Sivota's coastline is indented with rocky coves, sandy bays and stretches of almost white coarse-sand/fine shingle beach

Eastern Pelion beach Eastern Pelion
Eastern Pelion is unspoiled, little-known and supremely beautiful. So thickly forested is it, and so steep that, were it not for the glistening Aegean below, it could be a cross between an ancient British woodland and the Alps! Accommodation is either in the coastal villages or in the mountian villages above. Eastern Pelion is thickly forested and criss-crossed by stone-paved mule tracks, making it a walker's paradise.

Affissos beach Western Pelion
The western side of the Pelion has lovely views (and gorgeous sunsets) over the Pagasitic Gulf to the mountains of the mainland and Evia beyond. Although heavily wooded, like all Pelion, the west is more typically Mediterranean: here olive and cypress predominate over oak and chestnut. Foreign tourism is in its infancy and the small seaside villages – quiet for most of the year, busy over weekends and local holiday periods – remain reassuringly Greek!

Tolon watersports Tolon - North Peloponnese
Built around the curve of a sheltered bay, Tolon has a very long sandy beach. Watersports are available, small motorboats can be rented and two pretty islets lie a short pedalo ride across the bay. A tempting array of cafés and small restaurants lines the beach. There is so much to see and do from Tolon, including coach trips to the Ancient sites of Olympia and Epidavros, as well as to Athens, and mini cruises to the islands in the Saronic Gulf.

Nafplion Nafplion - North Peloponnese
Nafplion was the first capital of the modern nation and, the narrow lanes of the old town, its mix of Venetian, Turkish and Neoclassical architecture, the busy waterfront, the shaded squares and the many fine tavernas, make this historic town a magnet for Greek and foreign visitors alike.

Kardamili The Mani - South Peloponnese
The character of the Mani, is determined by the great mountain range of Taygetus. The northern half is green and lush, the southern part lunar and unforgiving. Here are the Dirou Caves and tower houses. The village of Kardamili on the north-west coast is one of the prettiest you will find - particularly recommended for walkers and artists.

Chrani beach Chrani - South Peloponnese
Chrani is a quiet seaside hamlet with a long, uncrowded beach and memorable views across the gulf to the mountainous Mani opposite. Halfway down the inner side of the fertile, rolling Messinian peninsular, it is a good base from which to explore. Chrani comprises three mini-markets, four local cafés and half a dozen good tavernas. All around are trees, shrubs and flowers: it remains green here even in high summer.

Methoni Pylos and Methoni - South Peloponnese
Pylos is an historic and stylish small town at the top of the Messinian peninsular and has one of the best natural harbours in Greece. There is some fine architecture, a lovely shaded main square encircled by cafés, a bustling harbour, a medieval castle, a museum and a couple of offshore islands to explore. The neighbouring small town of Methoni at the southwestern tip is dominated by its impressive fortress stretching into the sea. The pretty town sheltering behind possesses a delightfully lazy Greek air, a long beach and a very shallow sea.
