Lemnos
An unspoiled island with a very Greek flavour, relatively few tourists, excellent sandy beaches and a characterful port. Lemnos is a very traditional Greek island, where priorities remain agriculture and fishing rather than tourism. That said, bicycles, cars and small boats can be rented; and there is a range of watersports.

Lesvos is the third largest island in Greece. It lies in the north-eastern Aegean close to Turkish shores, and offers plenty of scope away from the beach. Lesvos is rich in history and tradition. The island has monasteries and a petrified forest to visit and is famous for its bird life (and Ouzo!).
